Today, we are going to work on an iPhone, removing some applications we no longer use and giving some help in the process. For those that have an iPhone, or thinking of buying one this should help you.
The first thing you are going to need is to is download iTunes, click on the link below
Once the download is complete, Click Select All to set associations for programs, this will include, any movies, music and Mp3 files. When you launch iTunes, you will see that there is not a menu bar.
To get to the menu bar, you will have to maneuver your mouse to the upper left hand corner, you should see a two-tone faded square, next to this is a small arrow tab click on this and the menu will drop down. Now, move down where is says “Show Menu Bar” and click on this.
The first way, is by clicking on the home button, once you are past the login screen, Press and hold down on the App and you will see it start to wiggle. An X will appear. Once you have touched the X, the app will be deleted.
Another way is to go to settings, Usage, tap on the application you want to remove, this will take you to another page, where you can click “Delete this app” A menu will pop up from the bottom, ” Delete this app”, click this and your done.
If you plug-in your iPhone into your computer, iTunes should pop up Normally when you connect your iPhone, iTunes will then update your iPhone.
The next step, is to maneuver your mouse to the upper right hand corner where it shows: iPhone” and click on this.
When you click on “Apps” you will see the screen below;
Click on the screen where you wish to remove the Apps. If you double-click the screen will enlarge, double-click on the app that you want to remove, you will see an X appear click on the X, this will remove that particular app. If you click on each app, you will be able to remove those apps, that you no longer want. If you decide that you do not want to remove these apps, at the bottom you will see the words “Revert”, this will bring all the apps back, however if you wish to remove those apps, permanently click on “Sync” and your apps will be removed.
Should you click on Apps and find that there are no screens or apps appearing uninstall and reinstall iTunes.
